AGM round up

Written by NZGBC | 30 November 2020

This year's Annual General Meeting was a welcome get together for the NZGBC team and members, generously hosted by Bayleys in their fabulous Green Star certified, Bayleys House. After a warm introduction by Lloyd Budd, of Bayleys, NZGBC chair, Steve Aschebrock, Inzide, led us through an update of the year's events and business of the evening. CEO Andrew Eagles and Director Sam Archer outlined plans for 2021. Future Thinker of the Year, Tessa Meyer, now of KiwiRail, ignited the room with her impressive round up of Future Thinker achievements and wishes for the future. And the evening was rounded off  by Saatyesh Bhana of Argosy Properties, elaborating on why keeping sustainability at the heart of your business is good for your investors and good for the planet.

The evening reminded us that this been an unexpectedly successful year, and how together we are creating positive change.

Congratulations go to Patrick Clifford, who has been reelected to the NZGBC Board to represent the Consultants industry group.

We all enjoyed the chance to catch up.
