Many of you have come to recognise and rely on Lena Albrecht who has worn many hats for us during her seven years with the Green Building Council. Lena has been instrumental in the growth of our events and professional development programmes.
Lena will leave us on 19 May following the Green Property Summit to return to be closer to her family in Germany.
Over the past seven years, we’ve come to enjoy Lena’s commitment to sustainability and her appreciation of New Zealand’s cultural diversity. She has been a passionate supporter of our adoption of te reo Māori and internal cultural appreciation initiatives.
Our technical team has also come to rely on Lena to understand our members and the market to design programmes that bridge between their work and the market demand for knowledge and capability for green building.
Please join us in wishing Lena a fond farewell and best wishes for her new adventures to come.
