It's been over two years since the launch of Green Star Design and As Built NZ, and Interiors NZ rating tools.
We're seeing an increased adoption of Green Star certifications and growing support from a wide range of sectors including healthcare, retail and industrial.
We've been inundated with positive feedback regarding the flexibility of building types after the introduction of Green Star Design and As Built, and Interiors to the New Zealand market. More comments have been received regarding credit feasibility of different building types within the New Zealand context.
To accommodate the evolving New Zealand building market, our Green Star rating tools need to continue to evolve and stay relevant.
We're pleased to announce that we're kicking off the v1.1 tool review for Green Star Design and As Built NZ, and Interiors NZ and want to invite you to join us.
Your feedback is important to us. If you've used the tool, will use it in the future, or if you have a professional interest in sustainable buildings and fitouts – we want to hear from you!
This is the first round of consultation where we will mainly focus on troubleshooting. A second round of public consultation will be initiated after the release of the v1.1 draft document.
We have already addressed some of the issues identified with the tool via Technical Queries (TQ). We plan to incorporate these TQs into v1.1. Please review these TQs and provide us any comments related to them along with the tool. You can find the TQs here.
