What you need to know

As a member of the Te Kaunihera Hanganga Tautaiao | the New Zealand Green Building Council, you play an integral role in shaping our direction as we work toward a more sustainable built environment.

As a for-purpose industry body, our Annual General Meeting is an important part our governance process. Please join our Chairman, Simon Neale from University of Auckland and our Chief Executive, Andrew Eagles as we meet to review our performance for the year ending 30 June 2025.

This will be followed by networking drinks with fellow NZGBC members, offering a chance to connect, share ideas, and celebrate the year together.
 

This is a member only event. All documentation will be provided prior to the day.

Chief Executive, New Zealand Green Building Council

As the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Green Building Council, Andrew leads a passionate team of professionals who are committed to improving the quality and sustainability of our built environment.

With over 20 years of experience in the housing and construction sectors, he has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities for creating healthier, more resilient, and more efficient buildings and homes.

 

Simon Neale
Simon Neale

Chair, NZGBC | Chief Property Council, Auckland University

Simon Neale has over 25 years of experience in the property industry. He is the Chief Property Officer at Auckland University where he successfully championed building 201 to gain a 6 Green Star Design rating.

Prior to that he was the Director of Estates and Facilities at the University of Sussex and Associate Vice President of Campus Infrastructure at the National University of Singapore.
