NABERNZ Expansion Green Speak - Event Banner-2

What you need to know

NABERSNZ, New Zealand’s leading energy efficiency certification scheme for buildings is expanding beyond office buildings. Tools for shopping centres, logistics warehouses, cold stores, and retail stores opens up the opportunity to showcase a building’s energy efficiency, and derive value from the resilience and benefits that brings to building users.

With the construction boom of commercial and industrial buildings in Christchurch, NABERSNZ will give owners, tenants and building users in these sectors a clear way to measure energy performance and identify improvement opportunities. This is about reducing opex, fortifying a building’s energy resilience, and smarter decisions. For some sustainable finance relies on these third-party certifications to access better rates on loans or to raise capital.

This event is for anyone interested in energy efficiency and being smart about energy use, particularly if you work with any of these building types. Come along to learn about the NABERSNZ expansion programme, how tenants and occupiers are thinking about energy these days and how to get involved.

 Includes light refreshments and networking.
