Bhumika Mistry

Senior Technical Coordinator - NZGBC

Bhumika is a Technical Coordinator for Green Star, helping facilitate and manage the Green Star certification process for commercial projects. As a coordinator she is engaged in all stages of the certification and collaborates with assessors and project teams to achieve their Green Star ratings.

She previously worked as an Architectural Designer primarily focusing on building consent documentation.

Bhumika has a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture Professional from the University of Auckland. Bhumika’s Architectural thesis ‘Visible Morality’ focused on challenging the notion of commodification and exchange through theoretical discourse of western state-capitalism and power relations.

Alain McKinney

Project Director - Precinct Properties

Alain is the Project Director for the Wynyard Quarter Innovation Precinct Development. This scheme will total nearly 48,000m2 with the 14,000m2 phase one completed in 2017.  Phase 2, 10 Madden Street completed on programme in October 2020 and phase 3 currently under construction with a programmed completion for Q1 2025.

During a break in the project, he managed the construction of the Hotel, Restaurant & Golf facilities at the new Te Arai Golf Links in Mangawhai.

Before joining Precinct, Alain worked for Colliers International in New Zealand. For eleven years he was a director of specialist retail developer, RJM Developments.  Prior to that he was head of commercial office leasing at CBRE & Colliers (Belfast) and also worked for a number of years at Colliers in London.

He is passionate about constructing the highest quality buildings that push the boundaries of sustainable development.

Meredith has a professional background spanning civil engineering, urban design and planning, and was the NZGBC Future Thinker of the year in 2021.

Meredith brings a thoughtful and pragmatic approach to complex built environment projects, and is passionate about creating more equitable, sustainable and inclusive cities.
