Bobby Shen is the senior manager at the NZGBC looking at existing buildings. This includes the rating tools Green Star Performance, NABERSNZ, and Net Zero Buildings.

He has a background in commercial architecture, sustainability, governance, and community development. In his role, he assists the property sector in Aotearoa to drive low-carbon and ESG responsive properties. 

Lisa Hinde

Head of Sustainability - Precinct Properties

Lisa is Head of Sustainability at Precinct Properties and her key focus is developing and guiding implementation of long term sustainability, health and wellbeing strategies to support industry best practice across assets in development and under management.

She is Chair of the Green Star Advisory Committee, a NABERSNZ assessor, Green Star Accredited Professional and WELL Accredited Profession and prior to moving to NZ in 2023, she was Head of Sustainability at Colliers working across APAC to guide, interpret and apply the growing repertoire of ESG systems and frameworks across multiple asset classes at different stages of the built environment lifecycle.

Our resident Sherlock Holmes, Roger has a nose for identifying issues and solving them on the fly – often before others even knew they existed!

Urban Water Specialist - Water New Zealand

Lesley is an engineer, outdoor enthusiast, and mum who works at Water New Zealand, supporting groups focused on water efficiency and climate change. She began her career in Melbourne, Australia, working directly with commercial building owners who were using the NABERS scheme, where she saw the programme’s benefits firsthand.

With a career spent at the intersection of water and climate change, Lesley has a deep understanding of the need to reduce demand—and the significant, untapped opportunities to do so in Aotearoa New Zealand.
