What you need to know

Join NZGBC’s Brad Crowley, Tyron Hartle from WM New Zealand and Sunshine Yates from Sunshine Yates Consulting as they discuss operational waste, present the development and key features of the innovative operational waste calculator and guidelines, and talk about operational waste management plans.

We'll be unveiling our newly released Operational Waste Calculator, designed to help you plan weekly waste and determine recycling and waste rates, and launching the Operational Waste Guidelines – the first version of a New Zealand-based guide for sustainable management of operational waste.

Designed to support new buildings to effectively allocate space for waste infrastructure, this calculator aims to maximise waste diversion from landfills throughout the building's lifecycle. This session is an essential opportunity for those in the property and construction sector looking to enhance their sustainability practices. Don't miss it!
