Matthew leads work on healthy lower carbon homes at the NZGBC. Overseeing the auditing, research and for Homestar, the national standard for healthy lower carbon homes and buildings.After completing his Honours Degree in Natural Resources Engineering Matthew now has 15 years of experience leading residential energy efficiency projects and education programmes in New Zealand and Australia. In 2016 he joined the Board of the Passive House Institute New Zealand.
An experienced presenter, facilitator and podcaster, Matthew has interviewed over 200 architects, builders and industry experts from around the World on the Home Style Green podcast.

Marketing Communications Manager - NZGBC
Aimee leads marketing and brand at the New Zealand Green Building Council, where she works alongside clients and partners to amplify sustainability achievements and drive engagement with certification tools including Homestar — NZGBC’s residential rating tool for healthier, more sustainable homes. Through collaborative campaigns, Aimee helps organisations showcase their commitment to better building and supports the wider industry shift toward low-carbon, future-ready housing.She holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Marketing and Management, and brings a deep understanding of brand, strategic marketing, and the power of purpose-driven communication to her role.
