Beyond Efficiency: Rethinking energy through time of use

What you need to know

With rising energy prices, increasing electrification, and growing pressure on the grid, it is no longer just about using less energy. Using energy at the right time is becoming just as important for managing household costs and overall system efficiency.

For developers and consultants, this represents an important shift and creates opportunities to design smarter homes and communities that are more affordable to run and better aligned with the future energy system.

Join us to explore what energy time of use means for buildings and why it matters. We will look at how it impacts energy bills, infrastructure planning, and long-term value, and how it can be considered early in the design or retrofitted into existing homes and buildings.

In this session, we will cover:

    • What energy time of use means in practical terms
    • How energy timing can influence household energy costs and overall affordability
    • Why electrification and renewable energy are making this more important
    • The role of smarter design, appliances, and technologies in shifting when energy is used

Who should attend this webinar

Whether you are involved in development, design, or construction this session will help you better understand how to create homes and communities that are not just energy efficient, but also cost-effective and future ready.
