Project Summary:

135 Albert Street is a 30 storey office block located in Auckland CBD. As well as Auckland Council office floors there are a number of externally tenanted floors and common use building areas including the ground floor reception and building management floor on L2. The building has been refurbished through base building upgrade works and a new fitout for the Auckland Council office floors in the building. The new office layout is largely open plan and includes meeting rooms, breakout spaces, offices. The building is façade predominately curtain wall glazing with a dark tint. The construction and form of the building has not been altered during the interior fitout. Repair work and cleaning was carried out on the façade.

  • Energy Star laptops and monitors and Energy Star qualified whiteware
  • Reduced car-parking spaces
  • Cyclist facilities for 10% of staff and visitor bike storage
  • Reused sanitary fittings throughout where in good condition and new efficient sanitary fittings in selected locations
  • 60% reduction by cost in the use of PVC in the fit-out
  • Recycling areas provided, operational waste management plan in place as well as organic waste recycling with on-site worm bins providing compost for L4 gardens.
