Project Summary:
Papamoa College – Stage 2 is a new wing of the recently built Papamoa College which has been certified as 5 Stars building under Education 2009 Design Rating. This wing is connected to the existing School via an external covered walkway and can be readily identified as a separate building within the School.
It is 2-storied narrow plate floor building with long section orientated broadly East West. Opening single glazing and insulated spandrel panels with overshadowing provided by eaves and extended slab edges.

- Presence sensors for lighting fixtures
- Domestic hot water supplied from an existing solar hot water system
- Naturally ventilated with 2 pipe fan coil units for winter heating
- No cooling system provided
- The building will use common water, waste and electricity supplies with independent HVAC systems
