Bobby Shen - Impact Manager – Buildings, NZGBC

Bobby works with the property and construction sector to unlock long-term value in asset portfolios by focusing on drivers including energy efficiency, lower carbon outcomes, and the growing influence of sustainable finance.

With a background in commercial architecture, Bobby brings expertise across the full life cycle of buildings — from design and construction through to the operational phase. At NZGBC, he helps industry apply tools such as Green Star and NABERSNZ to deliver assets that are energy-smart, low-emissions, and aligned with evolving sustainability expectations. 

Zoe Baker - Sector Lead, NABERS

Zoe is a Sector Lead in the National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) team within the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water. Zoe has a social science background and broad range of sustainability experience having spent her career working in social and sustainability strategy and programs. She enjoys bringing people into the networks where they can share learnings and reach collective goals together. 

At NABERS she is responsible for engaging various business and property sectors on the growing range of building efficiency rating tools.
